JOCELYN TORRES
I am a Stanly County native, currently residing in Albemarle, NC. I am also a first generation graduate from UNC Greensboro with a Bachelor in Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology. Community service is something I am passionate about. While attending UNCG, I volunteered with several non-profit organizations including Real World English, a program that teaches English and literacy skills to adults and their children. In addition, I had the opportunity to intern for Former Congresswoman Kathy Manning during her 2022 campaign. Currently, I am employed with Stanly County Schools as an Instructional Assistant. In my free time, I enjoy attending community events and spending time with family and friends.
